June 2008 Real Estate Market Report for Central Oregon

The Bratton report that came out on 7/9/08 had some interesting statistics. All statistics on this page are from the Bratton report.

As of 7/9/08 there were 1588 Single Family Residences on the market in Bend (not including Townhomes, Condos, Manufactured Homes, or Homes on Acreage). In June there were 114 sales of these SFR homes in Bend. This leaves us with a 16 month supply of inventory. Sales are up since the first of the year though. Only 56 homes sold in Feb. 08.

Along with sales in Bend, the median price of Bend real estate rose as well. The median price for Single Family Residences in Bend rose to $315,000 in June. With this the average days on the market dropped to 114 days, and the price per square foot rose to $166 from $155.

Of the 114 sales in June, 77 of them were priced in the $350,000 and under range.
